A serviced office building in Basingstoke integrated IBOS into the whole building’s infrastructure, including the Building Management System (BMS), central plant, chillers, boilers, Air Handling Units (AHUs), Low-Temperature Hot Water (LTHW) systems, and extract fans.
Energy metering data is captured for analysis.
IBOS wireless indoor air quality sensors were installed throughout the building, enabling real-time air quality monitoring and immediate response capabilities.
IBOS ‘Engage’ occupier App to be installed for occupier engagement.
Insights
The identification of incorrect dead bands and set points commissioned on the Variable refrigerant flow (VRF) system revealed the cause of significant out-of-hours energy consumption.
