Touchwood Solihull is a leading shopping destination near Birmingham, home to more than 80 stores and over 20 restaurants. Since opening in September 2001, it has been seamlessly integrated into Solihull’s town centre and is often recognised as a benchmark for innovative in-town development, enhanced further by its use of natural light throughout the mall. IBOS has been integrated across the building’s core infrastructure, including the Building Management System (BMS), central plant, boilers, Air Handling Units (AHUs), Low-Temperature Hot Water (LTHW) systems, and extractor fans.

Through 24/7 monitoring of the central mechanical and electrical equipment, IBOS has seamlessly engaged with the onsite teams at Touchwood Shopping Centre to enhance day to day operations by adjusting equipment operation and out of hours use. This has contributed to achieving optimal building performance while providing a comfortable and healthy environment for both occupants and visitors
