Background

95,818 Sq Ft

A corporate office block in central London integrated IBOS into the whole building’s infrastructure, including the Building Management System (BMS), central plant, chillers, boilers, Air Handling Units (AHUs), Low-Temperature Hot Water (LTHW) systems, and extract fans.

Energy metering data is captured for analysis.

Insights

The identification of the building plant operating outside of set parameters revealed the cause of out-of-hours energy usage. To aid in energy reduction, plant run times were restricted.

Additionally, issues with the setup of the boiler and chiller systems were identified, allowing for more efficient use of these systems and a reduction in energy consumption.
