Background

Witan Gate House offers a modern, dynamic workspace in Milton Keynes. With a refurbished reception, independent café, and thoughtfully landscaped courtyard and gardens, the building is designed to promote wellness and sustainability throughout the occupier experience.

Insights

IBOS identified key optimisation measures to improve efficiency and comfort, including aligning AHU, boiler, and chiller operation with occupancy hours, reducing AHU static pressures, and implementing fault alerts. Repairs to AHU dampers and boilers were recommended, along with BMS interlocks to prevent unnecessary 24/7 system operation.

“Since integrating IBOS, we have seen significant improvements in operational efficiency, with notable reductions in energy use and costs. The system’s insights have been key to our Net Zero commitment, and we plan to expand its use across other systems to further enhance sustainability and savings.” – Building manager
