Q4 Wrap up : Achieving impressive savings
As we completed our final quarterly reporting of 2024, we are proud to reflect on the remarkable impact IBOS has made in driving energy efficiency, cost savings, and sustainability. The results speak for themselves:
- 22% average energy savings on consumption
- 36,350,487 kWh of energy saved
- £8,217,611 in energy cost savings
- 7,572 tonnes CO2e prevented from entering the atmosphere
These incredible achievements showcase how sustainability and efficiency go hand in hand. To put it into perspective, these savings are equivalent to powering around 12,000 UK homes for an entire year. This is the kind of real-world impact we strive for at IBOS, and we look forward to continuing to deliver meaningful results for our clients in the year ahead.
World Energy Day
February 14th marked not only Valentine’s Day but also World Energy Day, a significant occasion for IBOS. This day provides us with an important opportunity to raise awareness about the need for energy reduction and how we can contribute to a more sustainable future. Perhaps the alignment with Valentine’s Day is no coincidence—after all, it’s a perfect reminder to show love for our planet.

James took a trip to Bristol
James recently visited the Workman LLP office in Bristol to connect with colleagues and property managers overseeing IBOS enabled buildings. His visit was also a chance to check in with Georgios, who is based in Bristol and will play a key role in supporting IBOS sites across the region.
While there, James and Georgios conducted a survey on a potential new site and visited three existing IBOS locations to meet with site teams and discuss optimisation strategies. It was also Georgios’ first opportunity to see an IBOS installation in a building and experience firsthand how IBOS drives efficiency and savings.
During his visit, James introduced Georgios to surrounding sites where he will be actively involved moving forward. At IBOS, we emphasise the importance of strong relationships with clients, site teams, property managers, and facilities managers. A human approach is at the heart of what we do, as we believe it is the most effective way to foster meaningful connections and drive long-term success.
” I am excited to join the IBOS Team of Building Technology at Workman as a Senior Intelligent Systems and Data Analyst! This role enables me to combine my engineering expertise, data skills, and industry experience to drive meaningful impact for our clients.
Georgios grigoriou
I firmly believe that the fusion of data and engineering, strengthened by human-centric approaches, is essential for achieving energy and carbon reduction while ensuring the built environment truly serves its users.
Data alone isn’t the solution – it’s the insights, analytics, and engineering intelligence that transform buildings into better places for people, communities, cities, and the planet.
Even in my first weeks with the team, I’ve seen an incredible passion and drive to create better places using industry best practices – and I can’t wait to contribute to this journey! .”

We’re passionate about data, analytics, and technologies, but we know that data alone isn’t the solution. It’s the combination of engineering expertise, data, and the human touch that transforms raw numbers into meaningful, actionable outcomes. When all these elements come together, that’s when we drive real, lasting change.
IBOS Socials
At IBOS, we believe great teams are built beyond the office – whether it’s team lunches, after-work drinks, or celebrating new team members over smashed burgers at Honest Burgers. These socials help strengthen bonds, spark fresh ideas, and recognise achievements in a relaxed setting.
Some of our best conversations happen over an extra extra large pizza, not just in meetings! Taking time to connect outside of work fosters a stronger, more engaged team – because when people enjoy working together, great things happen
