New faces, exciting projects & industry insights.

As we step into the final quarter of the year, we are reflecting on an exciting and transformative month for our team. From welcoming new colleagues to gaining valuable industry insights and launching new initiatives, here’s a look at what we’ve been up to.

Welcoming new talent to the team

This month, we’re excited to welcome Michael Makuchete as our new Smart Building Engineer and Tallulah May as our new Building Technology Administrator!

To celebrate Michael’s arrival, we had a fun evening at the F1 Arcade, where he was officially introduced to the team. Michael brings extensive expertise in controls and smart building technologies and is already diving into key projects.

We also celebrated Tallulah’s arrival with a lively game of mini golf at Swingers! Tallulah will play a key role in streamlining processes within the team, helping us work more efficiently as we tackle exciting new challenges. We’re thrilled to have both Michael and Tallulah onboard and can’t wait to see the positive impact they’ll make!

New clients

We’re proud to have secured two new clients this month, further expanding our reach and capabilities. Each new partnership brings fresh opportunities to innovate, and we can’t wait to deliver outstanding results for them.

Insights from PropTech Connect

James Hallworth, Director at IBOS, attended PropTech Connect, where the conversation centred on the future of buildings and technology. Here are James’ key takeaways from Michelle Andrew’s ‘Overcoming Barriers to Smart Building Adoption in Your Organisation’ roundtable:

  1. The ‘Green Premium’ is evolving. While sustainability remains vital, we’re entering the era of the data premium—properties rich in data are the ones set to thrive.
  2. Data is the new currency. As asset managers rely more on data to optimise portfolios, understanding and utilising it will become a crucial part of their role.
  3. Tools for asset managers. As day-to-day operations change, how can PropTech empower asset owners to balance innovation with their existing responsibilities?
  4. Human-first smart buildings. It’s not just about smart tech; success will depend on how well it integrates with human needs and improves the quality of life for building users.

The future of PropTech is brimming with possibilities, and we’re excited to be at the forefront of this evolution, bringing real value to people who live and work in these spaces.

Behind the scenes at the Natural History Museum

We were honoured to attend the grand opening of the Natural History Museum’s Urban Nature Project, a stunning five-acre garden space aimed at educating visitors about biodiversity and conservation.

We’ve proudly supported this transformative project since its inception. Walking through the gardens and witnessing the timeline of natural history—from prehistoric forests to ancient rocks—was truly inspiring.

The unveiling of Fern, a new bronze cast of the beloved ‘Dippy’ Diplodocus, was a highlight. This project is a powerful reminder of our shared responsibility to protect our planet, and we’re excited to see how it evolves.

Now open to visitors – make sure to check it out.

New sites & exciting instructions

We’ve added five new sites to our portfolio and three new instructions—an exciting step forward as we continue to grow and expand our reach. Each new instruction brings fresh challenges and opportunities for us to deliver exceptional results.

New website & branding now live

To top off the month, we’ve officially launched our new website and branding! This refresh marks a new chapter for us as we continue to evolve, innovate, and connect with our clients and partners in even more meaningful ways.

Be sure to check out the new look and feel and stay tuned for more updates on our LinkedIn!
