Our Intelligent Building Operating System (IBOS) team has expanded with two new expert appointments as the service grows to cover 9.2 million sq. ft of commercial property, delivering £6.5m of savings on clients’ energy bills, as reported by Build In Digital.
The company welcomes Chris Worsnop as Senior Smart Building Systems Analyst, and Michael Makuchete as a Smart Buildings Engineer.
With a wealth of ESG experience, Chris will lead on the development of the Workman Energy Hub, while utilising his data analytics expertise as part of the team delivering IBOS. He will support reporting across our portfolio, with collection, utilisation, and reporting of data across our building tech team, clients, and the wider business.
With a background in energy and building performance engineering, Michael joins as a Smart Buildings Engineer. He brings expert controls proficiency and has begun to tour the IBOS portfolio.

The addition of Chris and Michael grows the specialist IBOS team to five, with further new joiners to be announced in the coming weeks.

IBOS is now installed across more than 9.2 million sq. ft of commercial property and has delivered £6.5m of savings on clients’ energy bills to date, saving 31,200,000 kWh of energy, and preventing 3,400 tonnes of CO2e from entering the Earth’s atmosphere at the 97 buildings where IBOS is installed.
